Culinary Institute Set to Open Santa’s Gingerbread Village
NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. – NCCC’s Niagara Falls Culinary Institute is set to open Santa’s Gingerbread Village on Friday, December 4 at 6 PM with the arrival of Santa Claus himself. The life-size student constructed gingerbread village features Santa’s House, as well as different themed facades developed by NFCI’s Baking & Pastry Arts students in conjunction with Pastry instructor Cathy Barron.
In addition to visits with Santa, free activities include cookie decorating, holiday crafts, letters to Santa, student demonstrations, storytime, entertainers and musical performances. NFCI is also hosting the American Culinary Federation’s gingerbread contest display this weekend, December 5-6th.
NFCI’s Gingerbread Village will be open Fridays from 6-9PM, Saturdays from 1-8PM and Sundays from 1-5PM through December 20. View the full schedule of events for NFCI’s Gingerbread Village online at http://www.nfculinary.org .
