Lewiston, NY - Guest Filipino cook Mari Beth Gapuz-Sciandra shows off a dish called Daing Bangus to guests attending a seminar titled "Filipino Foodways: Kaman Style," a traditional Kamayan feast served on banana leafs and eaten with your hands, with food prepared by a member of the local filipino community. Ed Millar, Folk Art Curator at the Castellani Art Museum at Niagara University, moderated the event.
The one-day seminar was hosted by the university to showcase the positive impact Niagara University Vincentian tradition is making through its students, faculty, staff and alumni.
