Great Lakes Awareness Day at the Aquarium of Niagara
New York Sea Grant and The Center For Great Lakes Literacy are sponsoring Great Lakes Awareness Day at the Aquarium of Niagara. The event features exciting hands-on exhibits focusing on the Great Lakes and the Niagara River. Experts from New York Sea Grant, US Fish and Wildlife Service, Buffalo Niagara Riverkeeper and the WNY Partnership for Invasive Species Management (PRISM) will be on hand to share information and materials with visitors to the Aquarium. Great Lakes Awareness Day will help visitors learn about aquatic invasive species, Great Lakes fish and the fishery, environmental topics, stewardship projects and includes a hands-on activity for children. All activities are included with paid Aquarium admission or are free for Aquarium members.
