Niagara Falls, NY - New York State Parks Police Sgt. Jeff Eckert and Capt. Christopher Rola briefed the media about the removal of a pontoon that came loose from the Buffalo Ice Boom and was secured above the American falls at Niagara Falls State Park near Goat Island for future removal by helicopter. The removal scheduled for Tuesday was postponed due to excessive ice in the river and will be rescheduled at a later date.
