Lockport, NY - Abbie McNet, a 9-year old who was born with down syndrome, will be given a proclamation at Lockport City Hall later in April. She is currently battling cancer with the help of her parents and their friends and family. A happy child, McNet's mother said, "She's a trooper." Here she is at her home.
