Congressman Brian Higgins and Mayor Robert Restaino will join Field & Fork Network at the Niagara Falls City Market to announce a three-year federal grant totaling over $245,000 to revitalize and expand the city market. The grant is a part of the USDA’s Farmers Market Promotion Program, which awarded over $13 million to 55 organizations across the country, Field and Fork Network was one of five projects in New York state that was selected. The funds will be used to make capital improvements, strengthen operations, recruit new vendors, and increase community engagement.
