Lockport, NY - The Lockport Public Library, in partnership with the City of Lockport, presents the Lockport Public Library StoryWalk at Widewaters Park along the Erie Canal off Market Street. The project was funded by the Garman Family Foundation administered by the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo. The Lockport Public Library StoryWalk features 22 book pages along a path allowing all ages and abilities to engage in physical activity while fostering the love of reading. Local author Cynthia Cotten shows off her book "At the Edge of the Woods," the first book presented. StoryWalk books at Widewaters and Day Road Parks will be changed every two weeks, said library director Bev Federspiel.
