Niagara Falls, NY - Wheatfield Gardens CEO Paal Elfstrum talks about their Green Machine, one of three electric vehicles purchased from a Buffalo seller, they are making street legal for "last mile" deliveries of their vegetables. Elfstrum said they plan to charge the vehicles with their cogeneration plant, behind, and that it's a win for two WNY companies as there are plans to purchase more in the future. <br />

NORTH TONAWANDA, NY Nov. 8, 2021 – Wheatfield Gardens LLC, a leading hemp/cannabis cultivator, is holding a half-day of tours and talks Tuesday to learn about the latest projects and innovations here. The tours will feature first-time access to some of Wheatfield’s proprietary control systems. Attendees are from National Grid, Cornell University, NYSERDA, and Franklin Energy/NYSEG.<br />

WHAT: The open-house will give guests an opportunity to participate in four mini-tours that highlight projects at Wheatfield Gardens. We will feature three mini-tours of the facilities, including an overview of Wheatfield Gardens’ proprietary Tropos Technologies climate-control system, and recently installed adaptive lighting-control system project in collaboration with Candidus and EnSave.
