Lockport, NY - Girl Scout Troop #74135 Leader Bridget Licata and Kenan Center Development & Public Relations Manager Parrish Herzog show off two new little libraries on campus donated by Girl Scout Troop #74135 and The Lockport Rotary Club. The Kenan Center plan to dedicate the two on Saturday.

Two “Little Libraries” have been installed on the Kenan Center Campus between the Taylor Theater and Kenan House Gallery. The Little Libraries were donated by The Rotary Club of Lockport and the Girl Scout Troop #74135. Image attached.

This will take place during Member Appreciation Day at the Kenan Center Campus.

The full Member Appreciation Day includes:

Membership Drive - Sign up as a Kenan Member to receive extra perks and tickets to upcoming events!
Herb & Plant Sale - Friends of the Kenan Herb Club will host their annual sale from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Kenan House Gallery - Free and open to the public all day featuring the Celebration of the Erie Canal exhibition. Open 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Free Play For Kids – A variety of recreational games and activities for kids between 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Music in the Gardens with Mark Mazur Trio - 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. on the Kenan House Patio. Free for members! $20 not-yet members.
Unveiling of Little Libraries - A new and free lending library for all. Sponsored by Lockport Rotary. 12:30 p.m.
Summer Program Registration - Sign up for Youth Soccer and Kids Quest. Deals for Members!
Parkers Pit BBQ – On site offering lunch from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
