Roy-Hart Elementary Students To Celebrate Creation of Outdoor Learning Lab, Focusing on Agricultural Education
What: A group of Royalton-Hartland Elementary School children will celebrate the launch of a special Outdoor Learning Lab on school property in Gasport with the cultivation of plants in new raised garden beds and the installation of weather stations. An educational garden shed will soon open for teaching and demonstrating purposes.
As part of the Outdoor Learning Lab, the school district Is also working with community stakeholders on a self-sustaining community garden that will both support families in need and provide an educational land lab for teaching.
