Niagara Falls, NY - Niagara Falls Mayor Robet Restino kicks off the Building Bridges Program at the Packard Court Community Center. The City of Niagara Falls in partnership with the Niagara Falls Police Department and Niagara County Sheriff's Department started the program to help foster relationships between children from the inner city. Approximately 20 children, between the ages of 8 and 12 years old, will be visiting local attractions such as Niagara Falls Cave of the Winds, the Aquarium of Niagara, Confer Plastics, and more while being granted the opportunity to positively interact with local police officers and sheriff deputies. This program runs Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 11 am to 3 pm, starting Monday, July 27th, and concluding on Friday, August 7th.

City of Niagara Falls Nurturing Relationships Between Youth and Local Police
What: The City of Niagara Falls in partnership with the Niagara Falls Police Department is kicking off their Building Bridges Program targeted at helping foster relationships between children from the inner city and the Niagara Falls Police force. 20 children, between the ages of 8 and 12 years old, will be visiting local attractions such as Niagara Falls Cave of the Winds, the Aquarium of Niagara, Confer Plastics, and more while being granted the opportunity to positively interact with local police officers. Who: Mayor Robert Restaino will be kicking off the program, with the support of the Niagara Falls Police Department and Niagara County Sheriff, working in partnership with other local government officials for the city of Niagara Falls, who are in charge of the 2-week program.
