Niagara Falls, NY - Niagara Falls Salvation Army intern Cadet Dustin Norcross of Sharon, PA, touches up a sign for the new Salvation Army Farm Stand.

The Salvation Army Niagara Falls Corps has installed a Free Farmstand in front of their Buffalo Ave location.

With Covid-19 restrictions in place their client choice pantry has been on hold for several months in favor of a safer pre boxed distribution model

The organization however has continued to grow and source local produce for distribution.

Major Steve Carroll shared “we are passionate about given our community healthy options. Our garden is producing a large harvest this year. So, this seemed like the perfect project for our summer intern”
