Niagara Falls, NY - Because of the COVID-19 Pandemic, a group of friends, colleagues and students honored Theatre Teacher Kate Muldoon's passing by singing songs in her front yard, as those in a parade of cars got out as they passed her James Avenue home to place flowers and cards.
NOTICE:
Good afternoon, Jim Neiss had given me your email and said to send you some words about Kate Muldoon to use and some info about what we are doing for her. I will post the info below and I have also attached a story of who Kate was to me and others in the email.
Kate Muldoon was a theatre teacher with the NFCSD until her retirement in 2017. She was a huge part of this community and sadly lost her battle with cancer this past Tuesday. Tomorrow, Saturday April 11th a group of people are doing a motorcade past the Muldoon household to show our respects and support for their family. There will also be a small group of singers on the front lawn (myself included) to sing her favorite songs at the family’s request (taking all social distancing precautions of course!).
Date: Saturday April 11th
Time: Noon
Address: 946 James Ave Niagara Falls, NY. (The motorcade will be lining up at nearby Maple Ave school)
Thank you for doing this. Jim also told me you asked for a few comments from other people. I will share your email with some. If I can be of any other assistance please let me know!
