Niagara Falls, NY - Thomas Martell has been trying for years to get his veteran uncle, Peter J. Dodd, a little local recognition for sacrificing his life in the Korean War by sending letters to local government officials and several Presidents of the United States. After all these years a response came from Niagara Falls Mayor Robert Restino in a letter addressed to his mother Elaine Martell, Peter Dodd's sister, honoring her brother for his sacrifice.
