Niagara Falls, NY - Wilbur is a 7 month old short hair domestic mix. When Wilbur was born, he could not use his hind legs and is currently in foster care. He made slow but steady progress with his legs but he will never be able to walk like a normal kitten. In addition to his limited mobility, Wilbur also had bladder control issues. We believe that whatever is affecting his legs (whether it is a spinal defect or some kind of nerve damage) makes it so he cannot feel when he needs to go to the bathroom. As a result, he needs his bladder expressed a couple times a day (to avoid UTI's) and he wears newborn diapers around the house to prevent leaks.
Despite his handicaps, Wilbur is just a happy go lucky kitten. He is blissfully unaware of his limitations and simply wants to run, play, and cuddle. He is incredibly tolerant and does not stop purring. He also loves other cats!
