Niagara Falls, NY - Supreme Princess Royal, Supreme Temple Daughters of the Nile, Karen L. Keuther, is currently second in command of the Athor Temple No. 19 in Buffalo, the hosts of the One Hundred First Annual Supreme Session at the Conference and Event Center Niagara Falls. The convention is expected to draw more than 1600 people, said Keuther. "We contracted with 4 local hotels and maxed out our contract at all 4," she said.
Niagara Falls USA Welcomes Largest Conference in Over a Decade
Niagara Falls, NY (June 9, 2017) — This weekend, Destination Niagara USA and the Conference & Event Center of Niagara Falls are welcoming the largest conference that the City of Niagara Falls has hosted since the Convention and Civic Center closed in 2002.
This Sunday marks the kick-off of the Daughters of the Nile Supreme Temple 2017. Daughters of the Nile is an international fraternal organization for women 18 years or older founded in Seattle, Washington in 1913. They have a total of 25,000 members in 136 cities throughout the United States and Canada. The members are proud of their long association with Shriners International and their continuing support of Shriners Hospitals for Children®.
Approximately 1,800 attendees are arriving in Niagara Falls this weekend and staying at four host hotels for the week in the immediate downtown area. The meetings and sessions for the conference will take place at the Conference & Event Center as well as well as the Culinary Institute and the Hard Rock Café. Additionally, Destination Niagara USA is providing complimentary shuttle service through Bedore Tours from the host hotels to various locations throughout the city. Conference attendees will also be embarking on various tours of the Western New York Region. The total estimated economic impact is $2 million.

The Daughters of the Nile Conference will run from Sunday, June 11th through Thursday, June 15th.
