Amherst, NY - Niagara Falls was mentioned several times by the Governor including increased tourism, hotel growth, the Parkway name change, reclaiming green space along the gorge, acquiring underutilized property in the downtown area, creating attractions for tourists and building a lodge on Goat Island. New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo’s presented the 2017 State of the State Address on Monday at the Center for the Arts on the State University of New York at Buffalo’s North Campus.
