Niagara Falls, NY - Mayor Paul Dyster, joined by Police Superintendent Bryan DalPorto, recognized Gun Violence Awareness Month and Day with a special proclamation at City Hall.


Since 2013, June has been designated as Gun Violence Awareness Month in New York State. National Gun Violence Awareness Day is celebrated on June 2, 2016, and participants across the nation wear orange in support of curbing gun violence.
