Niagara Falls, NY - Maple Avenue Elementary student Amore Parker reads her essay to Mayor Paul Dyster suggesting kids and adults do an act of kindness. Maple Avenue Elementary held an essay contest for fourth, fifth, and sixth graders with instructions to write a paragraph of a 100 words or less on the topic: IF I COULD MAKE ONE IMPROVEMENT TO THE CITY OF NIAGARA FALLS, IT WOULD BE......................AND HOW I WOULD DO IT. The six winners meet with Mayor Dyster at City Hall on Wednesday to read their ideas out loud.
