Niagara Falls, NY - Baby Shawn Kennedy Jr. lead a host of elected officials, high school and collegiate athletes and community members in the inaugural Golden Steps 4 Pediatric Cancer Walk to raise awareness for pediatric cancer in the community. The walk started at the Top Of The Falls Restaurant on Goat Island at Niagara Falls State Park.

Golden Steps 4 Pediatric Cancer Awareness

Inaugural Walk Led By Baby Shawn To Kick-Off Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month


Niagara Falls, N.Y. -- Baby Shawn Kennedy Jr. will lead a host of elected officials, high school and collegiate athletes and community members in the inaugural Golden Steps 4 Pediatric Cancer Walk to raise awareness for pediatric cancer in the community. The event is set to coincide with the start of Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month and is designed to provide much needed support to children with cancer and their families being treated locally, as well as fund research to find a cure.
Registration will take place at 7:30 p.m. at Terrapin Point, where the walk will commence at 8:00 p.m. and conclude at Prospect Point.
A 9:30 p.m. press conference and photo opportunity will follow along the back patio of the Visitor Center at Prospect Point, at which point the lights on Niagara Falls will go gold in honor of the event.
Media attending the press event are asked to park in Lot 1 adjacent to the Visitor Center at Prospect Point.
